Project Description Museum Tower will be a prestigious urban residential address featuring luxurious condominiums and townhouses at its First Hill location. The project will be designed to provide the ultimate vertical homes for residents who want the amenities of city living along with the security of a "place apart". Architectural Style The building is being designed by the Seattle-based, internationally-recognized firm Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects. Best known for their high-end residential design, they were also the designers of the nearby Frye Art Museum. The museum typifies their excellent architectural standard. The architecture will complement the neighboring St. James Cathedral, as well as the historic O'Dea High School.
In addition, the building will embody many distinctive architectural features that set it apart from other buildings of its kind. The base of the building will consist of stone and brick materials, and its rich texture will create a deep, substantial and permanent façade. The east and west facades of the tower will extrude the overall design scheme with the use of consistent materials such as brick and/or concrete piers.
Public and Private Amenities
Other exterior amenities will include terraces instead of balconies and a public park resembling New York City’s Paley Park and Trump Palace. The park will be maintained by the Homeowners Association, and it will be closed and secured at the end of each day.
Common facilities will include 24-hour security and concierge service, wine storage, multiple parking spaces and general storage in the parking garage. Each townhouse will have its own private elevator, and the tower will have an exclusive freight elevator so residents and guests are not bothered by service and maintenance activities. A small-but-elegant workout and exercise facility, along with a 40-foot lap pool, will enable residents to keep up with their fitness regimen. For those who wish to use the building for business or meeting purposes, conference rooms and a library will be available.
Inside, each unit will have soaring ceilings reaching up to 12 feet in some cases. It goes without saying that each and every home will contain unparalleled exceptional quality of workmanship and products. Provisions will be available for custom interior design and construction, should the buyer prefer that option. In classic Northwest style, views will encompass panoramas of the city skyline, mountains and sound, depending on the orientation of the unit. |
