Environmental Remediation

Starbucks Center is located in a heavy industrial section of Seattle. The entire surrounding area is known to be contaminated with a variety of industrial wastes. The building had originally been used by Sears, and included auto repair and service stations at various times. The ownership has removed, or closed in place, 21 underground storage tanks at various locations around the 17 acre property. The partnership has also completed its groundwater remediation work at the site.
