Urban Revitalization

Many of Nitze-Stagen's projects have helped to bring revitalization and economic activities back into the South Downtown (SODO) neighborhoods in Seattle. The area was previously known for its heavy industrial uses and has now transformed itself into a strong, successful and vital business district in Seattle. Nitze-Stagen has invested in, and participated in, the planning for many projects in the neighborhood, and brought in new uses to attract further investment into the area. Nitze-Stagen was able to create financially and economically feasible ways to invest in the area where revitalization had not been contemplated. Nitze-Stagen has received several awards for the positive impact its projects have created, and has been recognized by numerous organizations.
